Job Duties:

Supervise electrical maintenance, repairs, and construction projects for state facilities.
Schedule and oversee preventive, corrective, and emergency electrical work.
Prepare project estimates, order materials, and maintain repair records.
Coordinate work assignments with other supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
Train and supervise maintenance workers while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
 

You'd be a GOOD fit if:

You have six years full-time wage-earning experience working as an electrician in maintenance, construction, or an industrial setting.
You understand electrical systems, codes, and equipment.
You can read electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
You have strong problem-solving and communication skills.
You can organize work and maintain accurate records.

You'd be a GREAT fit if:

You have supervisory or team leadership experience.
You have extensive knowledge of electrical codes and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
You have experience planning and coordinating multiple electrical projects.
You have experience training others and improving work processes.
You are comfortable operating equipment and working in a correctional or industrial environment.
