Job Duties:

In this role, you will oversee departmental expenses to ensure operations remain efficient and within the established budget. You will prepare budget reports and reconcile the budget on a monthly basis. You will calculate monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual food requirements and review and approve departmental requisitions.

 

You will supervise the preparation and serving of meals, ensure dining, service, and food preparation areas and equipment are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.

 

You will provide instruction to employees and inmates on safety regulations, chemical handling, sanitation procedures, food preparation and portion control, and the operation of food service equipment.

You'd be a GOOD fit if:

You have graduated from an accredited senior high school or equivalent of GED.

You have criminal justice and supervisory experience.

You'd be a GREAT fit if:

You have six years full-time, wage-earning correctional custody, law enforcement or food service management experience to include three years in the supervision of employees.

You have thirty semester hours with a minimum of six semester hours in Criminal Justice.
