Job Duties:

In this role, you will be managing day-to-day activities within the Emergency Action Center (EAC). This includes planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating program operations and activities. This department is responsible for receiving and assessing reports of serious or unusual incidents within the agency. As the department manager, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing emergency notifications involving staff and inmates to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. In addition, this position provides guidance to agency personnel in handling difficult or complex problems, and after-hours assistance to EAC staff and agency administration.

You have a bachelor¿s degree and experience in criminal justice program administration, along with experience supervising employees. You are detail¿oriented, have a strong work ethic, and stay well¿organized while maintaining strict confidentiality. These strengths demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and the ability to support program operations effectively.

You'd be a GREAT fit if:

You have a bachelor¿s degree with major coursework in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field, along with four years of criminal justice administration or program administration experience. You have at least one year of supervisory experience and a background in management or project coordination. Your criminal justice experience and strong understanding of Emergency Action Center processes and procedures demonstrate the operational knowledge, leadership ability, and reliability needed to succeed in this position.
