Job Duties:
The Program Supervisor IV for the Classification and Inmate Transportation Division (CITD) is responsible for managing the Open Records department and the scanning and microfiche conversion unit. You will lead a team that processes public information requests and converts paper and microfiche records into digital files. Your work ensures legal compliance, data security, and efficient access to public records. The position is the liaison with legal counsel, external agencies, and the public regarding complex record requests. Audit and review of sensitive documents, ensure legal redactions to protect private, confidential, or legally exempt information. Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to a cohesive team of record specialists and digitization technicians to ensure accountability and effective operations in a healthy environment.
You'd be a GOOD fit if:
You have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Criminal Justice, information technology or a related field.
You have four years working in a Criminal justice field with knowledge of offender records or technical program support.
You are experienced in the development and supervision of employees.
You'd be a GREAT fit if:
You have experience with Open Record management following state and federal guidelines.
You have extensive knowledge of digital document /imaging storage systems.
You have exceptional work ethics, leadership, and team building skills.
