Responsibilities
The College of Social Work offers a collegial environment committed to maintaining a broad and supportive faculty community, supporting high quality and rigorous scholarship, and delivering high quality instruction.
We invite applications for a 9-month, full-time, non-tenure track faculty position with opportunities for promotion and multi-year contracts. This position is fully on campus and in-person. Primary responsibilities include:
- Teaching and providing support to students in the BSW and MSW programs.
- Teaching a 4–4 course load (four courses in the Fall and four in the Spring), with opportunities to teach additional courses during the Summer term, depending on the need of the college.
- Engaging in college service and committee work as appropriate.
Qualifications
Master of Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program and two years of post-MSW clinical experience are required.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and Clinical Social Work (LCSW) licensure or an equivalent credential. Additional preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the ability to build strong community relationships and teach across the social work curriculum.
