Tech Center Design Engineer -Intern (Summer 2027)

East Penn Manufacturing Co. is a private, family-owned employer offering an engineering internship in a collaborative environment. The role supports engineering design and development projects through experiments, data analysis, technical documentation, process improvement, and the application of engineering software tools.

What you'll do:

• Assist in the design and development of engineering projects
• Conduct experiments and document results accurately and thoroughly
• Collaborate with team members to innovate and improve existing processes
• Analyze data and create reports to present findings
• Support the development of project proposals and technical documents
• Participate in group meetings and contribute ideas for improvement
• Learn and apply software tools used in engineering design and analysis

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in science and engineering disciplines
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks

• Familiarity with software such as VBA, Minitab, Matlab, Python, and Office 365 are preferred
