About this role
Netsmart is a company focused on using technology to improve healthcare outcomes. The Technical Analyst Intern will work on hands-on projects related to data exchanges and integrations in healthcare technology, while also training staff and collaborating with clients.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate internally and with Netsmart’s clients to configure integrations and data exchanges between Electronic Health Record (EHR) software, additional software systems, and 3rd party services
- Train staff to effectively use the features and functionality of the solutions and integrations
- Apply knowledge and experience with information technology systems, data tools, analysis, and software architecture and programming to think creatively
- Provide excellent communication on project and task status, and learn the solutions assigned in order to teach and train end users
- Work both in an office environment as well as travel to a client site
- Work in conjunction with other consulting members, as well as designated client representatives, on a daily basis
What they're looking for:
- Rising Senior or Rising Junior with graduation date for bachelors or masters of December 2027, May 2028, December 2028, May 2029
- Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, or other applications)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and being comfortable presenting to audiences
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple detailed tasks in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Demonstrates achievement in academics, internships, co-ops, or other work experience (preferably involving business, clinical, analytical, and/or technical coursework)
- BA/ BS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, information Systems Technology, Data Analytics or similar
