Technical Recruiter, Contract

AegisAI is an AI security company building defensive AI agents to protect against modern, evolving threats. The Technical Recruiter will own full-cycle recruiting across Engineering and AI, GTM/Sales, and Operations by sourcing exceptional talent, partnering with company leaders, pitching the company’s mission, and building efficient recruiting infrastructure.

What you'll do:

• Own Full-Cycle Recruiting: Drive talent pipelines from initial outbound reach to offer negotiation across key business vectors: Engineering & AI, GTM/Sales, and Operations
• Hunt Top 1% Talent: Run hyper-personalized, creative outbound sourcing campaigns across LinkedIn, GitHub, X, networks, and unconventional channels to engage top technical and GTM talent
• Partner directly with Founders & Leaders: Work directly with founders, engineering managers, and sales leaders to define ideal candidate profiles, establish hiring bars, and run fast feedback loops
• Master the AegisAI Pitch: Clearly articulate our tech stack, mission, and category-defining opportunity to technical candidates and sales drivers alike
• Drive Velocity: Think in days, not weeks. Maintain high-touch candidate experiences, drive tight interview schedules, and remove operational friction to close candidates fast
• Build Talent Infrastructure: Continuously test sourcing approaches, refine candidate evaluation processes, and leverage AI tools to automate workflow drag and speed up your pipeline

What they're looking for:

• • 1–3 years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced agency, venture-backed startup, or high-growth tech environment
• • Multi-Disciplinary Sourcing: Proven track record sourcing for technical roles (Software Engineers, AI/ML Infrastructure, Threat Detection) AND/OR business roles (AEs, BDRs, Ops)
• • High Agency & Relentless Execution: You are a self-starter who doesn't wait for perfect instructions—you test, adapt, and hit pipeline targets
• • Technical & Business Literacy: You can talk shop with complex backend engineers and understand sales quotas and territory motions with GTM leaders
• • Scrappy & Adaptive: Comfort experimenting with modern AI tools, modern sourcing platforms, and rapid-fire workflows
• • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of sourcing, pitching, and successfully closing top-tier technical and commercial talent at this level
• • Experience at an early-stage (Seed through Series B) SaaS or AI startup
• • Prior experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or technical AI domains
• • Network depth across San Francisco, NYC, or major US tech hubs
