Technical Recruiter - Power & Utilities (Hybrid)

CARIAN is a purpose-driven, woman-owned consulting and advisory firm dedicated exclusively to the power sector. The Technical Recruiter will support high-volume hiring across power utilities programs, proactively sourcing and engaging candidates for various technical roles.

What you'll do:

• Proactively source, engage, and screen candidates for technical roles within the power and utilities sector
• Execute high-volume outbound outreach campaigns to build candidate pipelines for active and future roles
• Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and direct networking to identify and engage qualified candidates
• Identify and target talent from key industry firms, engineering consultancies, and contractors
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and present qualified candidates to hiring managers
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and align on candidate profiles
• Manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously with a focus on speed and quality
• Build and maintain structured pipelines of passive candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill roles
• Track activity and pipeline metrics, including outreach volume, candidate conversations, and submissions
• Coordinate interviews and support candidates through the hiring process to offer acceptance

What they're looking for:

• Experience Level: 1–5 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or sourcing experience
• Demonstrated ability to proactively source candidates and generate pipelines through outbound efforts
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence passive candidates
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with clear activity and output expectations
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• Experience recruiting for engineering, construction, utilities, or other technical roles
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
