Technical Specialist

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Technical Specialist onsite in Atlanta, GA, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting. ## What you'll do - Perform PCB assembly, soldering, rework, and prototype builds for engineering projects. - Set up and implement electrical, functional, and validation testing of electronic and wireless products. - Operate laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and electronic loads. Maintain lab equipment and calibration. - Troubleshoot hardware issues and support root cause investigations on PCBAs and systems. - Assist engineers with prototype development, product verification, and design validation activities. Collaborate across multiple development units. - Develop and support continuous improvement initiatives. ## What you'll bring - High school diploma or associate's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related technical field - Experience with lab equipment, soldering, and testing - Able to read, interpret, and implement standard test requirements with excellent analytical thinking and time management skills - Basic Word & Excel skills - Able to lift 50 lbs. - Up to 30% travel required from Midtown Atlanta to Peachtree CityMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
