About this role
Performs cardiac telemetry monitoring and arrhythmia detection through continuous observation of the Central Monitoring system as a primary job responsibility and performs department clerical duties as a collateral responsibility.

Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Recognition Course.
Coursework/Training: Required to either have completed the “Basic Arrythmia” course or have demonstrated experience in rhythm interpretation.
Coursework/Training: Will require applicants to complete ECG test prior to job offer being extended.
Coursework/Training: Will be enrolled in an internally-developed online course as part of orientation.
Coursework/Training: Will have periodic competency assessment.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma or GED
Coursework/Training: Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course.
6 months Experience in a hospital environment.
