Tenure-Track: Assistant Professor of Modern Middle East

The Department of History in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month appointment, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Modern Middle East history, broadly defined, with an anticipated start date in fall 2027. We seek a scholar whose research complements and enhances existing departmental strengths and broadens our intellectual and methodological diversity. The successful candidate will maintain an ambitious, productive research agenda, teach two courses per semester, recruit and train outstanding students, and participate in university and professional affairs.

The position requires a Ph.D. in History, or a related field.
