## Job Summary Responsible for entry-level tasks that ensure TFS' critical data is as perfect in real time as it possibly can be. This involves coordinating with field teams and other personnel across Energy Delivery, gathering data, and entering data, as well as employing entry-level technical skill and experience to analyze TFS data for accuracy and completeness. This position is part of a team that ensures proper stewardship of TFS' critical data. ## What You'll Do - With limited supervision and oversight, perform project print review at the beginning of a capital project to examine all relevant prints, including one-lines, schematics, bills of material, and equipment manufacturer drawings, in order to accurately identify and gather information about Transmission assets intended for commissioning on the project. - Assist in reviewing drawings with field changes at the end of a capital project, to understand any changes that were made and ensure they are correctly documented in the asset management database, IPS. - Coordinate elements of print management as requested, such as monitoring the print platform, DSTrack, and following up on overdue records that have not been submitted. - Support creation of the location hierarchy, addition of new capital assets, and population of asset attributes into IPS based on information found in technical drawings and project scopes. - Support managing the asset entry lifecycle using the Data Tracker database. - Review the assignment of Commissioning Actions in IPS to newly created assets and make corrections, additions, or deletions as needed. - Review the IPS Audit Trail of asset attributes for accuracy and, with direct supervision, resolve errors as necessary. - Develop skills to provide specialized process support, including responding to questions from the field, problem diagnosis and research, troubleshooting, tracking, and resolution. - Assist in coordinating the configuration and release of substation Capital Commissioning Checklists for specific jobs. - Assist in developing process improvements and documentation regarding Capital Commissioning Checklist creation and initial IPS data entry. - Support asset-level management of IPS data by updating asset attributes for new capital assets, processing testing documentation, updating asset statuses after in-servicing, and handling other associated items as needed. - Develop skills to perform quality assurance of Transmission Field Services data through routine accuracy checks of asset attribute data, correction of discrepancies, assistance with CICO requests, and updating GPS and address information in IPS. - Assist in coordinating reporting and monitoring activities directly with field teams, including using TFS' metric platform, PowerBI, to report on overdue settings, overdue commissioning actions, and other items. ## What We're Looking For - Minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of data or record management experience; or an Associate's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering Technology or related fields. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Outlook and data entry. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Physical demand level is sedentary. - Travel may be required.In addition to competitive compensation, AEP offers a unique comprehensive benefits package that aims to support and enhance the overall well-being of its employees.
