The Morgan Library & Museum is welcoming applications for its Academic Year Internship program, providing an introduction to career opportunities in museums and special collections libraries. The internship in the Financial Services Department offers exposure to financial operations and business administration in a nonprofit cultural institution.

What you'll do:

• Assist with accounts payable
• Assist with accounts receivable
• Assist with payroll
• Assist with general accounting work
• Support recordkeeping and financial reporting
• Help review current processes and support improvements that use technology
• Exposure to investment and endowment-related work when available

• Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student
• Strong interest in a career in the museum or research library fields
• Eligibility to work in the United States; international candidates must be eligible to participate in a paid internship program in the United States
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
