Ticketing Intern (Unpaid + Commission Opportunities)
Position Summary
Miami FC is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Ticketing Intern to support the club’s Ticket Sales Department. This internship provides students with hands-on experience in professional sports ticketing, fan engagement, customer relations, and sales operations.
The Ticketing Intern will assist the Ticket Sales team with lead research, community outreach, customer communication, and match ticket initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to learn how professional sports organizations build their fan base, develop ticket programs, and create memorable experiences for supporters.
This is an unpaid internship. College credit may be available through your academic institution. Commission opportunities may be available based on qualified ticket sales support.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Ticket Sales Department with researching and identifying potential ticket prospects, including businesses, schools, youth organizations, and community groups.
- Support outreach efforts by assisting with email communication, phone calls, and follow-ups to prospective fans and groups.
- Help organize and maintain ticket sales leads, customer information, and outreach records.
- Support group ticket initiatives and community ticket programs.
- Assist with customer service inquiries and provide information about Miami FC ticket opportunities.
- Support matchday ticket operations, including fan assistance and ticketing-related activities.
- Assist with special ticket promotions, theme nights, and community initiatives.
- Participate in community events and activations to help promote Miami FC matches.
- Complete additional projects related to ticketing, marketing, and fan engagement as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, Communications, Sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Interest in professional sports, ticket sales, marketing, and fan engagement.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable communicating with fans, community members, and potential customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous customer service, sales, or marketing experience is a plus but not required.
- Spanish is a plus.
Internship Schedule
- Expected commitment of 10–20 hours per week, depending on academic availability and department needs.
- Flexible scheduling around class schedules.
- Must be available to assist with weekdays, evenings, weekends, and Miami FC home matches as needed.
