Check out the video below of what some of our employees have to say about working for Goodyear:  A Day in the Life Video Base Pay: $23.02 hr / $47,881.60 annually The Tire Test Technician is responsible for the grading of each cured tire that does not meet the Company finished product standards based on production tire inspectors. The ideal candidate requires comprehensive knowledge of all General Specifications to apply to cured tires, with in depth analysis of uniformity throw outs (including radial, lateral, and conicity) and determine the disposition for the tires (first line, blemish, repair or scrap).  In this role, you must be vigilant and alert the Production and/or Quality departments when serious conditions are found that may have been missed by production inspectors so that the suspect tires can be restricted in a timely manner.Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Dependable job attendance is expected.Shift Information: 2nd Shift  (Standard 8 Hour shift is from 3:00pm – 11:00pm)  Overtime may be required periodically to maintain 24hr coverage of the position Work Environment: Findlay, Ohio PlantThe job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory.The job is within a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, fumes, and noise.Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection, eye protection, and steel-toed shoes.Basic Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDMust be at least 18 years of age Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodationsTechnical Associates Degree or 1 year of equivalent work experience
