TOLL MANAGER-WV PARKWAYS AUTHORITY-RALEIGH CO.

Location of position: Ghent, WV Toll Plaza

Not Eligible for Overtime

Salary Range: $64,725-$76,906

Essential Functions of the Job

Directly responsible to the Director of Toll with responsibility for organizing, supervising, directing, and reviewing all undertakings in the toll plaza in accordance with policies and procedures established by the Parkways Authority.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Executes direct supervision of the toll plaza foreman with indirect supervision of all personnel within the section.

• Perform the essential functions of the Toll Plaza Foreman when required.

• Perform the essential functions of the Toll Messenger when required.

• Management of budget accounts assigned to the section.

• Overview and management of personnel work assignments within the section.

• Oversee the preparation, recording and authorizing of time reports, sick and annual reports.

• Being available for any problems which may occur.

• Oversee training of all new employees.

• Inventory control.

• Overview and management of O.S.H.A and M.S.D.S. records.

• Implementation of Toll Plaza Training Program.

• Periodic inspection of toll facilities and equipment.

• Maintain and present a good example.

• Management of plaza hours, occupational injuries, monthly safety meetings, customer complaints and ratings program.

• Assist in covering the Toll Messenger position during vacation and sick time.

• Other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma / G.E.D required with a total of six (6) years of toll experience with 3 of those years being a toll foreman.
