Essential Functions:
- Assist with financial and operational analyses for buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements
- Obtain an understanding of the work to be performed and the purpose of the engagement
- Assist with the preparation of Quality of Earnings databooks, proof of cash analyses, and materials for management interviews
- Prepare working papers that adequately document the analyses performed, procedures followed, and conclusions reached
- Coordinate with team members regarding client expectations, engagement timing, and project logistics
- Effectively communicate findings and potential issues identified during the engagement
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client and transaction information
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled as a student in an accredited college or university with a major in accounting
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others
- High degree of discretion when handling confidential information
