In the role of Transportation EIT/Engineer, we'll count on you to: 

•    Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural transportation projects
•    Take responsibility for plan development of Mobility and Safety projects, including but not limited to Transportation Management Plans, Traffic Signals, and Signing and Delineation
•    Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, quantities and cost estimates, specifications, and calculations
•    Provide assistance with other transportation projects and groups as needed
•    Perform other duties as needed 
 

Preferred qualifications
•    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
•    PE license preferred. Candidates hired with their PE with be titled "Transportation Engineer" and candidates hired with their EIT will be titled "Transportation EIT"
•    Able to develop designs using MicroStation, GEOPAK, or other transportation design software packages,
•    Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
•    Familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Open Roads Designer.
•    MS Office experience 
•    Preference is given to local candidates


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
  • Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk  Infraworks and Civil3d
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
