The Arrival/Departure Airfield Control Group (A/DACG) Transportation Supervisor oversees and coordinates the arrival and departure functions for airfield transportation activities. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant movement of personnel, cargo, vehicles, and equipment within the airfield environment. The supervisor leads a team responsible for airfield control operations, monitors workflow, enforces operational standards, and collaborates closely with airfield management, logistics, and safety personnel.

• Supervise daily arrival and departure operations for airfield transportation activities.
• Coordinate ground movement of vehicles, equipment, and personnel supporting aircraft operations.
• Ensure adherence to airfield safety regulations, traffic control procedures, and security protocols.
• Monitor aircraft schedules and adjust staffing, vehicle allocation, and workflow accordingly.
• Communicate with airfield operations, logistics teams, flight crews, and security units to maintain smooth operational flow.
• Oversee loading/unloading processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with handling standards.
• Train, develop, and evaluate transportation staff; provide coaching to ensure skill proficiency.
• Conduct inspections of vehicles, equipment, and staging areas to maintain readiness and safety.
• Respond to operational disruptions, incidents, or safety concerns and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation, logs, and reports related to arrivals, departures, and airfield movement operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and service quality.

• 5 years of experience in transportation operations, airfield operations, logistics, or related military/civil aviation environments.
• 2 years of supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of airfield safety procedures, ramp operations, and aircraft movement protocols.
• Experience coordinating cargo, passenger movement, or ground transportation in a time‑sensitive environment.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems, flight line documentation, and operational reporting.
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, safety‑sensitive environment.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and situational decision‑making skills.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
• Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation and obtain/maintain a CAC.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in airfield transportation, mobility operations, or aerial port functions.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience overseeing flight line, ground transportation, or airfield control personnel.
• Familiarity with ICAO, FAA, or DoD airfield regulations, depending on organizational context.
• Experience supporting contingency operations, rapid deployment activities, or joint-service logistics environments.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Commercial Driver License with Passenger Endorsement.
• High School Diploma / GED preferred.

Physical & Working Conditions:

• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• May require standing for extended periods, lifting equipment, and operating vehicles.
• Work may occur in high‑noise or high‑activity airfield environments.

Salary:

• $80,000 / Annually
