Treasury Specialist I

The Department of the City Treasurer is seeking a Treasurer Specialist I.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide professional customer service over the phone, in person, and via email
• Answer multi-line phones
• Assist taxpayers with inquiries and balances
• Research issues in software systems
• Cross-train with other departments and assist in providing coverage during peak times, sickness, or vacations
• Open & sort mail
• Clerk payments
• Responsible for monitoring and answering department email with professional communication
• Responsible for maintaining department address changes and return mail system updates
• Must have basic writing skills
• Fold and stuff outgoing mail
• General clerical and office duties as assigned
• Proficiency using a 10-key and typing at least 30 wpm
