Four Points Preparatory Academy is a tuition-free public charter school in Braselton serving students in grades K-6. We shape instruction to build on the strengths and abilities of each student and integrate Moral Focus™ lessons into every school day. As a result, our students are well-prepared from kindergarten through eighth grade. A Stanford University study found National Heritage Academies partner-school students gained the equivalent of 3.5 months of additional learning each year compared to peers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Promote a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment for all students.
Actively supervise students and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
Model positive, proactive attitudes, behaviors, and respectful language.
Maintain professional, age-appropriate communication, behavior, and attire at all times.
Communicate regularly with the After School Program Director to ensure consistency and alignment with program expectations.
Provide homework assistance and academic support to program participants.
Facilitate and support academic instruction using the curriculum and skill-building activities provided by the After School Program Director.
Clearly communicate directions and expectations for assigned activities and coursework.
Plan and lead engaging enrichment, recreational, and physical activities that promote student participation and learning.
Encourage and support students in developing the academic, social, and life skills needed for success.
Ensure classrooms, shared spaces, and program equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Maintain accurate attendance records and complete required documentation, including incident reporting, in accordance with the After School Program Handbook.
Complete assigned responsibilities and meet established deadlines consistently.
Attend and actively participate in all required staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
Demonstrate dependable attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience working in an after-school program, childcare, school, or youth-focused setting preferred.
Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students and support their academic, social, and emotional growth.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with students and staff.
Ability to meet all required background check and employment requirements.
