Hourly Rate: $18.30
This is an hourly wage position with a maximum of 29 hours per week and 1,500 hours per year. No state benefits are provided

Virginia ABC’s Bureau of Law Enforcement is looking for an Underage Buyer at a regional office and/or satellite office in support of a safe, orderly, regulated system for the manufacture, sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
Responsibilities
Underage Buyers assist the special agents on specifically approved investigations of the illegal sale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products to persons under the age of 21.
Minimum Requirements
All underage buyer candidates should be 19 years of age or younger at the time of the operation.
With the supervision of a special agent, the underage buyer must have the ability to visit any retail establishment and attempt to purchase a pre-determined alcohol or tobacco product
The underage buyer will have facial features, height and weight that make the person look their true age or younger.
Candidates should be free from adverse motivational factors that could be detrimental to the program.
Candidates must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license or DMV identification card.
Candidates must successfully complete an established Underage Buyer training program.
Virginia ABC employees are covered under the Commonwealth’s benefits package and VRS. However, authority employees are exempt from the Virginia Personnel Act and the Virginia Public Procurement Act.
