- Summer: minimum of 20 hours per week, students can work up to 30-40 hours per week.
- Scheduled hours between 6:30 am-10:00 pm Sunday through Saturday.

331Position Summary/Job Duties:
A Culinary Assistant is responsible for preparing food, serving food to customers, working with avariety of culinary equipment such as grills, deep fryers, and ovens, stocking product as needed,operating a cash register, and maintaining dining room sanitation and appearance. We are looking for individuals who love working on a team, have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to customer service. During the summer months, culinary assistants assist with dining operations for Conference Service guests.
- Assist with all phases of food preparation for salads, sandwiches, beverages, entrees, soups, and specialty items.
- Maintain sanitation standards and portion control per supervisor instructions.
- Set up serving stations that include utensils, food, dishes, supplies, and condiments.
- Maintain beverage station dispensers and refill as necessary.
- Replenish condiments and serving utensils.
- Complete required reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
- In addition, summer employment duties may include the following:
- Cashiering
- Dishwashing
- Cleaning of Service and Dining areas
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Possibility of pushing and pulling carts weighing approximately 200 lbs.
