The EY-Parthenon Decision Modeling and Analytics Summer Associate will apply corporate finance, data analytics, and data visualization skills to quantify clients’ strategic decisions and support complex consulting assignments.
What you'll do:
- Sitting within EYP, Decision Modeling and Analytics (DMA) professionals apply their corporate finance, data analytics and data visualization skillsets to quantify clients’ most impactful strategic decisions. As a DMA Summer Associate, you will join one of our most innovative and fast-growing teams. You will be working with, and learning from, highly talented colleagues on challenging and complex assignments. Through your work here, you will develop highly sought-after modeling and analytical skills while learning about, and helping to solve, a broad range of business issues of Fortune 500 companies, small and middle-sized enterprises and government agencies across all sectors and industries. What they're looking for:
- An education background that includes work toward a bachelor's degree or master's degree in business, finance, economics, statistics, accounting, or related field
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
- In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship, now and in the future
- The expectation for this role is in person teaming, at client site or in an EY office, a minimum of 60% of the time or on average 3 days a week over the course of an engagement, project or performance year
- PC proficiency, including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- A demonstrated interest in corporate finance and consulting
- Familiarity with statistical/mathematical approaches
- Familiarity with a broad base of analytics tools/applications including: Data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) Data management / Data modeling (SQL, Alteryx, Azure, Gurobi, etc.) Programming languages (Python, R, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, and the confidence to influence and support both colleagues and clients
- The ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting
- A methodical approach to work, and the ability to prioritize while working with a portfolio of projects
