The Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, oversees and supports teams to ensure high-quality maintenance and landscaping operations. About the team:
The General Facilities Maintenance team ensures safe and efficient facility operations through preventive maintenance and timely repairs. They expertly manage schedules, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and apply advanced diagnostics and regulatory compliance knowledge. Focused on maintaining equipment functionality and safety, the team supports continuous improvement through training and clear communication. What you'll do:

• Lead and coordinate facility exterior services teams to meet business priorities and customer needs.
• Assign duties, communicate goals, and monitor team performance to ensure quality and timely completion of work.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to associates, fostering skill development and compliance with policies.
• Maintain safety and quality standards by ensuring equipment and supplies are functional and available.
• Manage landscaping tasks including planting, pruning, pest control, and general maintenance using horticultural best practices.
• Utilize technology to complete work orders, maintain records, and track compliance with regulations.
• Resolve customer concerns through effective communication and problem-solving.

What you'll bring:

• Proven leadership experience in supervising and developing teams within facility or exterior services.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture practices, including landscape management, planting, pruning, and pest control.
• Ability to coordinate and execute work assignments while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards such as OSHA and DOT.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, customer service, and resolving facility-related issues effectively.
• Proficient in using technology to manage work orders, maintain records, and support operational efficiency.
• Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and quality standards in all aspects of work.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills to mentor associates and foster a collaborative work environment.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

21 years of age or older.
Valid, state-issued driver’s license.
No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the 3 years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last 3 years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification within 90 days of hire.
As required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.
2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry.
