V.I.E. Front Office Trading Software Engineer

Societe Generale is a global banking and financial services company, and they are seeking a V.I.E. Front Office Trading Software Engineer. This role involves developing and supporting software for electronic trading in an AGILE environment, focusing on Fixed Income trading tools and client-server development.

What you'll do:

• Ensuring all data and flows between other trading and settlement applications are maintained
• Build applications for various Front Office businesses
• Design and develop strong real-time pricing solutions and data analytics tools for the traders (full stack development: front to back)
• Assist the support team in the rollout of releases
• Give clear and consistent reports to the clients and management
• Work with users and business analysts to understand user needs and translate requirements into systems
• Work with senior developer to propose designs and implement the project accordingly
• Ensure agile and continuous delivery methodology is followed
• Ensure code is well tested
• Ensure that release management / change management processes are followed
• Be responsible for the 2nd and 3rd level of support
• Troubleshoot technical or functional issues in a complex financial environment to provide timely resolution, with various applications and platforms that are global

• Graduate with a Master's degree from a Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Computer Science or related subject
• Fluent in English (B2-C1)
• Mandatory - Strong technical skills in .Net C#
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Analytical skills
• Rigorous, Dynamic, detail oriented, fast learning capacity and able to work in a high-pressure environment
• Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Multithreaded application development knowledge
• Strong knowledge of programming design patterns including MVVM
• Source control tools, preferably Git
• Understanding of agile development practices
• Proficient in Dependency Injection and Entity Framework
