About this role
Grant Thornton is a professional services firm providing audit, tax, and advisory services. The Valuation & Modeling Intern will support valuation engagements, develop finance and accounting skills, learn modeling and technology methodologies, and work with clients across industries under the guidance of experienced professionals.

- Gaining an understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives
- Learning new skills, technologies, and Grant Thornton methodologies
- Working on a variety of client engagements that vary by size, region, and industry
- Receiving hands on mentoring and career coaching
- Participating in team building and networking events with your peers
- Obtaining professional development, continuing education, and focused training

- Sharpening your leadership skills
What they're looking for:
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance (required)
- The willingness and ability to work additional hours, as needed
- Ability to travel to various client sites as needed
- Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Effective project and time management skills for handling multiple priorities
- Positive mindset for dealing with multiple tasks, deliverables, and learning new concepts
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail
- High aptitude to work with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Embrace different points of view and welcome opposing and conflicting ideas
- Open mindset that is willing to learn new skills
