What role will you play?
Responsible for undertaking financial, quantitative, and qualitative analysis across fintech, digital consumer, and technology (data centers and AI) sectors to drive production of investment research for external distribution to clients and other stakeholders. Specific duties include conducting and writing investment research; creating financial models, analyzing financial statements, and developing methods of valuing companies; conducting commercial and financial analysis and modelling and preparing and delivering presentations to clients; and driving client relationships by providing insights into sectors under coverage.
What you offer
- Bachelor’s degree* in Finance or related field (Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics) plus 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years of experience in investment banking with focus on fintech, digital consumer, and technology sectors. (*Employer will accept combination of education and experience evaluated to be equivalent to Bachelor’s degree by certified evaluator.)
- Prior experience must include 3 years performing financial analysis and valuation modelling, including reviewing, building, and revising financial projection models, building base, downside, and upside financial cases based on review of business and operational models, spreading and reviewing relative valuation metrics, including public trading comparables and precedent transaction comparables, and modelling cash flow and debt paydown metrics
- 3 years conducting and writing investment research across fintech, digital consumer, and technology sectors.
Salary range for this position: $178,500 - $220,000/Year. Within this salary range the base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
