Visiting Assistant Professor

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Rochester invites applications for several non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor positions for new or recent PhDs. The positions are for two years, renewable for a third upon satisfactory performance. Qualifications include a PhD in mathematics, strong evidence of excellence in the teaching of undergraduates, and outstanding promise in research. Successful applicants are expected to reside in the greater Rochester metro area during the term of their appointment. Research areas represented by the department, including algebraic topology, analysis, combinatorics, differential geometry and global analysis, number theory, and probability, will be preferred.  On your application, please indicate your primary area of study by filling out the Field of Study form.  Also, please indicate who you prefer to have as a  research mentor on the Faculty Mentor Form.
