From the folks behind Bloom Bake Shop and Restaurant Lallande comes Waltzing Matilda’s, a new neighborhood spot shaped by a love of food, travel, and gathering around the table.

HOURS OF OPERATION ::  Tuesday through Sunday, 8am to 3pm.

Matilda’s comes alive in the mornings and rolls right through lunch. Coffee pouring, breakfast hitting the tables, a busy dining room, and plenty of good energy. We’re looking for people who love the rhythm of a bustling neighborhood restaurant and want to be part of building something new from the very beginning.

In December, Matilda’s will expand into the evenings as a neighborhood wine bar, with cocktails, beer, wine, and small plates.

Shifts
Tuesday-Sunday: 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, or 10am-5pm. Must be able to commit to 3 shifts/week. 

Come Cook With Us

We’re looking for prep, line, and production cooks who care about great food and take pride in doing things well.

Depending on your experience and interests, your role may include:

• Daily prep and mise en place
• Working a station during service
• Batch cooking and production
• Following and scaling recipes
• Cooking and plating dishes with consistency and care
• Properly receiving, labeling, storing, and rotating ingredients
• Keeping a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
• Jumping in wherever the team needs a hand

Experience is wonderful, but it isn’t everything. We’re looking for people who are curious, dependable, hardworking, and proud of what they do. People who care about ingredients, notice the details, and want to keep learning.

Pay: $17 to $22/hour, based on experience.
