WDI Show Control Hardware Intern, Spring 2027

Walt Disney Imagineering creates immersive experiences, destinations, and entertainment for Disney theme parks, resorts, attractions, and cruise ships. The Show Control Hardware Intern will support the team responsible for bringing attraction show elements to life by preparing basic engineering designs and calculations and providing general engineering support to Lead Engineers.

What you'll do:

• Prepare, under supervision, basic engineering design and calculation
• Provide general engineering support to Lead Engineers

What they're looking for:

• Hands on experience with industrial control systems
• Familiarity with control hardware design systems
• Familiarity with PLCs
• Interest in working in a "test and adjust" construction environment
• Ability to work as a member of a technical team
• Computer literacy with MS Office products
• Valid Driver's License required
• Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university earning a degree majoring in Engineering, studying Electrical, Electronics or Software Engineering, or related field
• Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization
