Web Developer Intern

Expatiate Communications is a leader in special education, redefining the way special education programs are designed and delivered. The Web Developer Intern will gain hands-on experience developing modern web applications while working alongside experienced software developers, contributing to real-world projects and building technical and professional skills.

What you'll do:

• Assist in developing web applications using C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Svelte
• Support database development with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and MongoDB
• Help build and test RESTful APIs using Postman and Swagger
• Learn authentication, version control, and deployment using JWT, Git/GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Azure
• Convert Figma designs into responsive, user-friendly interfaces
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and collaborate with the development team
• Write clean, maintainable code while assisting with debugging and testing
• Learn modern software development tools, best practices, and cloud technologies through hands-on projects

What they're looking for:

• Interns must pass a satisfactory Live Scan background check and provide TB clearance to proceed with the internship
• Assist in developing web applications using C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Svelte
• Support database development with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and MongoDB
• Help build and test RESTful APIs using Postman and Swagger

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Familiarity with at least one programming language such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript
