WYCOPHD Epidemiology Data Analyst VISTA

The Unified Government of Wyandotte County AmeriCorps VISTA Program is seeking a VISTA member to support the Public Health Department’s 2027 Community Health Assessment. The role develops sustainable data management, visualization, reporting, and accreditation-alignment systems to help the department identify community needs and deliver services to underserved residents.

What you'll do:

• The AmeriCorps VISTA member will develop and document systems to support the Community Health Assessment, including compiling and organizing data from multiple sources into a centralized system
• The member will create tools and processes for data management, visualization, and reporting, including charts, maps, and templates
• They will draft and edit narrative summaries of findings and develop materials to support communication of results
• The VISTA will also research accreditation requirements and create tools to align CHA processes with those standards
