About this role
Job Description
As the Yellow Tag Senior Specialist, you will play a critical role in the success of the Yellow Tag team by overseeing the business operations that support more than 800 video productions each year. You'll drive operational excellence through process development, production governance, budget oversight, vendor management, and tool administration, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. This role offers the opportunity to influence how the team works, partner closely with producers and stakeholders across the business, and help shape scalable solutions that support a high-volume, fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, exceptional organization and communication skills, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset that balances long-term priorities with urgent production needs.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you’ll do
- Lead operational processes and governance for video production projects from planning through completion.
- Maintain and enhance SharePoint and production management tools to support project tracking, reporting, and collaboration.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee weekly payroll, contractor payments, and production spend.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and cost center alignment.
- Develop, update, and communicate standard operating procedures while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive best practices.
Basic qualifications
- 4 years of business affairs, business operations, or related experience
- 3 years of SharePoint site administration and management experience
- 3 years of financial management experience with budget oversight responsibilities
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and Microsoft Office skills
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Office Administration, Finance, Project Management, Communications, Marketing, Theater, or a related field
- Experience supporting video production, media operations, or live events
- Experience working within a large consumer-oriented organization
- Vendor management experience, including external partner oversight
- Project management experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
