Position Summary/Job Duties:

The City of Fitchburg has a great opportunity for those looking for a part-time position.  High School students are encouraged to apply!

Under the general direction and supervision of the Community Center/Recreation Director, the Youth Basketball Attendant will be the onsite staff contact person for the Fitchburg Recreation Youth Basketball Program.

This position will be approximately 10-15 hours per week and ideal candidates will need to be available Monday - Thursday evenings and Saturdays.  Must be able to provide their own transportation to and from the site.

This position will remain open until filled.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

The following duties are normal for the position.  These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive; other duties may be required and assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Monitor facility, school site, gymnasium, equipment, and participants.
• Maintain a safe playing atmosphere and environment.
• Set up all equipment as needed before practices and games.
• Monitor condition of equipment, recommending replacement when needed.
• Return facility to the original state at the conclusion of practices and games.
• Provide a central reference point for all site and program-related inquiries by participants, coaches, and the public.
• Complete accident/incident reports as needed.
