Duties

You will review forms, documentation, and other related information; provide customer assistance for obtaining DEERS/RAPIDS enrollment and Identification cards.,You will research and provide rules, regulations, and requirements to make recommendations.,You will draft correspondence for review and appropriate signatures; and use oral communication for receiving telephone inquiries and/or referring customers.,You will manage applicant data using software programs (e.g., Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or similar software application).,You will interview personnel to obtain information required to complete records or correct discrepancies.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector verifying the identity credentials for physical and logical access to facilities and information systems for authorized personnel; selecting and preparing ID Card type and verifying that all information is accurate and correct; AND issuing identification cards/access badges to contractors and vendors. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: I have successfully completed four years of education above high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite; OR I have a combination of specialized experience and education that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required experience plus the percentage of the required education must equal one hundred percent. If you are using education to meet all or part of the qualification requirements, you must submit a copy of your transcripts or an itemized list of college courses which includes equivalent information from the transcript (course title, semester/quarter hours, and grade/degree earned) in your resume.
