The Provider Enrollment Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for managing provider enrollment activities with insurance payers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the enrollment process from application preparation through approval. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and values collaboration.
What You'll Do

- Coordinate provider enrollment and re-enrollment applications with a variety of insurance carriers
- Complete and maintain CAQH profiles, re-attestations, and online payer applications
- Prepare, submit, and track enrollment applications to ensure timely processing
- Monitor application status and resolve deficiencies or missing information
- Maintain accurate documentation and updates within internal systems
- Collaborate with multiple departments to support provider onboarding and enrollment activities
- Generate and review enrollment reports to identify and prioritize critical issues
- Prepare and submit payer applications and supporting documentation
- Complete online enrollment applications and CAQH maintenance activities
- Request and coordinate provider identification numbers and related records
- Research and resolve application discrepancies and payer requests
- Communicate enrollment updates and additional documentation requirements to stakeholders
- Train team members on provider enrollment processes and best practices
- Partner closely with Clinician Onboarding Liaisons and Credentialing Coordinators
- Support departmental initiatives and process improvement efforts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
- 1+ year of experience working with contracts, legal documents, healthcare administration, provider enrollment, credentialing, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to communicate professionally with providers, healthcare leaders, and internal stakeholders
- Flexibility to work additional hours when business needs require
- Ability to travel occasionally for training or business-related events
