About this data
Counts are certified filings in Department of Labor disclosure data from the last three years: Labor Condition Applications for H-1B, E-3 and H-1B1 workers, and PERM labor certifications for green cards. A filing shows a company sponsored someone for that role. It isn't an approved visa or an open job, and teams differ, so check a posting with the sponsorship checker or ask the recruiter.
The H-1B sponsor score (0 to 100) weighs recent filing volume, the share of filings for new hires, change from last year, USCIS approval rate and how many years they've filed. Universities are cap-exempt: they can sponsor any time of year without the lottery.
